1.8 — September 14, 2026
- Branch Quick Actions — Hover over a branch or tag in the Branches panel to reveal a “…” button with Check Out, Merge, Push, Rename, and Delete actions.
- New Branch Button — Create a branch directly from the Branches panel header without going through History or Reflog.
- Delete-Key Shortcut — Press Delete on a selected branch or tag in the Branches panel to bring up the delete confirmation.
- File Manager Polish — New tabs now take focus immediately, files sort by most recently modified by default, and drag-and-drop targets the highlighted folder instead of always the pane root.
- Performance & Reliability — Fixed a crash in Submodules, slow commit graph rendering and git status scans on large repos, a nested-folder archive creation bug, and several dark mode appearance issues.
1.7 — March 10, 2026
- SSH Terminal with SwiftTerm — Integrated SwiftTerm terminal emulator for SSH sessions with full ANSI rendering, mouse support, and proper terminal behavior.
- SSH Session Logging — Automatic session logging for SSH terminal sessions, capturing all input and output for audit compliance.
- Session Log Export — Export SSH and SFTP session logs with a selection dialog featuring date range filtering and per-file checkboxes.
- SSH Authentication Fixes — Resolved “Too many authentication failures” errors with proper authentication method selection and credential sharing between SFTP and SSH.
- SSH Tab Management — Duplicate and reconnect SSH terminal tabs from the context menu, matching SFTP tab functionality.
1.6 — March 5, 2026
- Credential Export & Import — Export and import SFTP and Git credentials as JSON files to transfer between devices. Available in Tools > Credentials and in each credential manager.
- Plugin System — New plugin architecture with per-feature enable/disable controls in Settings > Plugins.
- Liquid Glass Support — Automatic adoption of the Liquid Glass visual style on macOS 26 and later.
- Redesigned Settings — Settings window redesigned with a sidebar navigation layout, similar to macOS System Settings.
- Auto-Update System — Automatic update checking with one-click download and install, including release notes.
1.5 — February 10, 2026
- What’s New Dialog — View feature updates and changes for each version right from the Help menu.
- Landing Page Refresh — Updated landing page showcasing all recent features and improvements.
- Finder-Like Inline Rename — Rename files directly in the file list with an inline editing field, just like in Finder.
- Package Content Icons — macOS app and package bundles now display their actual icons in the file list.
- Toolbar Item Grouping — Option-drag toolbar items to organize and group them to your liking.

- Archive Extraction — Extract ZIP, TAR, GZ, and other archives directly within the file manager.
- Clipboard History Panel — Floating panel that tracks clipboard history with quick paste access.
- SFTP Audit Logging — Session-level audit logging for SFTP operations with log viewer filtering.
